Die Process Engineer

Role Summary

  • In-house & BOP stamping product follow up: Process approval & Blank shape review / Die design review as per the standard.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer’s tooling engineering account during die development.
  • Die development schedule management for tool builder as per the project milestone.
  • Product & Die quality analysis and problem solving.
  • Die Pre-buyoff, Final buyoff (static & dynamic) following the standard.
  • Home line tryout follow up.

 

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Understanding of stamping die development detail process.
  • Understanding of CAD / CAE software.
  • Product & Die quality analysis knowledge for die development phase.
  • Traveling to tooling suppliers without limitation.
  • Good communication skills for counter partners.
  • Good reports preparation skill.
  • Knowledge of GD&T analysis.

 

Work Experience

  • Various experiences of BIW, Chassis stamping die development.
