Department:Assembly Engineering

Education:Diploma/Bachelor Mechanical/Production Engineering or related qualification.

Experience:8 to 10 years working in Automotive industry.

Language:korean (Must)

Job Responsibilities and Major Activities / Tasks:

 

  1. Responsible for technical proposals, costing/quotations and supporting Sales & Key Account teams for BIW & Chassis / Joining Technology projects.
  2. Perform process planning & analysis including layout, cycle time, welding feasibility, and assembly process design.
  3. Develop and optimize welding processes (Spot, Projection, Resistance, MIG/MAG).
  4. Lead fixture design review, prove-out, installation, and commissioning activities.
  5. Manage new project implementation as per GPCS/APQP guidelines and ensure milestone delivery.
  6. Handle quality issues (plant & customer), act as SPOC for Tier-1 suppliers, and implement corrective & preventive actions.
  7. Drive process improvements, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and cycle time optimization.
  8. Plan facilities, tools, fixtures, layouts, and equipment for new projects.
  9. Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, JPH, capability, ergonomics, and NVA.
  10. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional/global teams; support audits and documentation.
