Position- Regional Senior Buyer-Indirect & Opex

Experience Required: >8 years

Location- Pune with 9-12 month onboarding assignment in Gujarat SA2

Job Description:

Indirect Procurement Management

  1. Lead regional strategic sourcing to maximize savings and standardization.Manage and evaluate indirect suppliers.Negotiate and finalize annual rate contracts.Analyze markets and supplier capabilities for informed sourcing

 

PR to PO Execution

  • Lead regional P2P sourcing for MRO, consumables, tooling, office supplies, indirect capex, and AMCs.Coordinate with teams for accurate PR creation and convert PRs to POs within SLAs.Ensure on‑time delivery through proactive vendor follow‑up.Resolve PO, delivery, and invoice issues.Drive best practices and discipline in the PR‑to‑PO process.

SAP Procurement Operations

  • Execute SAP procurement processes: PR verification, PO creation, and GRN follow‑up.Maintain accurate vendor master data and procurement documentation.Ensure records are compliant and audit‑ready.

Cost Optimisation and Compliance:

  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives across indirect categories without compromising quality.Ensure all procurement activities comply with policies, controls, and audit standards.

 

Coordination and Reporting:

  • - Collaborate with stores, finance, and user departments
  • - Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor performance reviews, and cost analysis
  • Support audits and management reviews.
