Position-Snr. Purchasing Manager-Logistic

Required Qualification:  B.E. Graduate with related experience 10 to 12 years

Job Description:

  • Manage daily supply chain and BOP parts planning to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Issue/monitor POs and delivery schedules; ensure full supplier compliance.
  • Handle BOP press parts sourcing, import tracking, customs, and long‑lead items.
  • Coordinate with PPC, Engineering, Production, QA, Stores, and Finance for smooth operations.
  • Conduct vendor audits, evaluate suppliers, and drive continuous improvement (PPAP, APQP, JIT, Kaizen, Kanban, FIFO, Poka‑Yoke).
  • Plan raw materials, reconcile inventory, and oversee BOP store activities.
  • Develop new suppliers, review drawings, process RFQs, negotiate costs, and finalize sourcing.
  • Track development timelines, manage die trials, and support new product development.
  • Maintain SAP data, supplier MIS, material accounting, and monthly savings reports.
  • Ensure compliance with commercial aspects, taxation, transport, and audit requirements.
  • Support internal/external audits and maintain strong communication across all levels.
