Corporate Projects Controller
Located in Abadiño (Bizkaia), we are looking to hire a Corporate Projects Controller in our Corporate Project Management Team.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Project Management Director, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Divisional Controlling areas, Corporate CFO, IT, or Commercial, this role involves guaranteeing and maximising the profitability, ensuring that decisions are made on the basis of economically sound criteria and supporting high quality standards of global projects launched in Gestamp worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly update of the Business Plan for follow-up: Review and analysis of income statements (balance sheet and cash flow), explanation of main deviations and potentials, and analysis of risks and potentials.
- Quotation of product upgrades: Updating the business plan in line with customer changes, maximizing profitability and keeping control of time, quality and costs.
- Measurement of economic impact for decision-making: Calculate the economic impact of the different solutions and transfer the profitability and economic point of view to any decision with objective data, in a clear and concise way.
- Directing management towards economic results.
- Integrate the financial information of the project with the plant.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Advanced English Level (C1 or similar).
- Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge and Education
- Bachelor´s degree in business administration, project management, finance, economics or accounting.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years' of experience in a similar position, preferably in the automotive sector.
- International experience desirable.
