Marketing & Communication Specialist
Job Summary
The Communication & Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting marketing public events, exhibitions, and branding initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Branding:
- Support the MarCom team with the development of company branding and reputations. Implement brand strategies aligned with the company’s overall direction.
- Ensure consistent promotion of Gestamp’s brand image: Implement corporate design guidelines accurately, including logos, presentations, posters and product brochures etc. Promotion Channels: WeChat, WeChat video, intranet, China website, etc.
- Social Media:
- Develop social media communication strategies and take charge of content creation and publishing across platforms. Creatively plan social media campaigns involving text, images, videos, and live streams.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activity, analysis social media data, and continuously optimize strategies and content to enhance communication impact.
- Public Events and Exhibitions:
- Assist in organizing events such as Auto Show, customer tech shows, and other exhibitions/conferences, including media activities, show parts organization, speakers’ coordination, visitor survey collection and post-event report, etc.
- Communications and Admin Tasks:
- Maintain good communication with team members, purchasing department, R&D centre, plant coordinators, global marketing team, and external parties.
- Support internal processes like merchandise ordering and vendor payment application.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong team player with excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities and efficient coordination of internal and external resources.
- Strong knowledge in digital marketing (including social media and e-commerce marketing)
- Fluency in English (written and spoken), Spanish(optional)
- Independent writing skills in both Chinese and English
- Proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Skills in Photoshop and video editing will be a plus.
- Strong ownership of tasks and responsibilities when assigned.
Knowledge and Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Advertising, Media, or a related field.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in internal communication, social media, or branding.
