Supplier Quality Engineer

Role Summary      

Location: China (Shanghai) + travel required (3 to 4 day per week). Languages required: English (intermediate level)

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate Engineering Drawings & Contractual Requirements into actionable Production Control requirements & deliverables (for existing product).
  • Support supplier(s) to achieve customer requirements with zero defects.
  • Arrange the inspection between difference suppliers.
  • Obtain deviations where required / applicable.
  • Ensure the provision of Quality Dossiers for each project.
  • Coordinate these and other activities directly with manufacturing suppliers.

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of Mechanical elements used in Industrial scale Photovoltaic Solar Power installations.
  • Basic knowledge about welding processes.

Knowledge and Education

  • Engineering Degree + Relevant Quality / Manufacturing Experience

Work Experience

  • Previous professional experience with Steel & Metal Structures, including associated Manufacturing Process such as Roll Forming, Cutting, Punching, Galvanizing, etc.
