Long Description

Directly reporting to the Plant Manager and as part of the Management Committee, the Engineering Manager defines, implements and improves the manufacturing processes that enable the company to manufacture its products in the best possible conditions in terms of quality, cost, lead time and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Industrialisation of new products and modifications while guaranteeing the expected performance (safety, quality, cost, time).
  • Creation and provision of all product-process technical files.
  • Recording of technical data in SAP and updating according to changes, after validation with management control.
  • Monitoring of the workload of the machines according to the evolution of capacities and integration of new projects to outsource certain production processes, when necessary, in collaboration with the logistics, purchasing and quality departments.
  • Participation in external feedback meetings with customers.
  • Search for possible productivity improvements and ensure their implementation.
  • Assisting sales representatives in technical and economic negotiations.

 

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Knowledge of industrial processes (stamping/assembly) and continuous improvement tools. 
  • Previous experience in people management and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of SAP.

 

Knowledge and Education

  • Degree or Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Advanced English and French (C1 or similar).

 

Work Experience

  • + 5 years of previous experience in similar positions, preferably in the automotive sector.
