Imports Exports Coordinator

Traffic and Foreign Trade Coordinator

Role Summary
• Ensure proper compliance with the company's material traffic and foreign trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate all traffic and foreign trade operations, whether they are imports or exports that are carried out on behalf of Gestamp.
• Verify that said operations comply with the applicable legal requirements.
• Coordinate the transportation, crossing and delivery of materials and equipment that are imported or exported by the company.
• Update and deliver information on the taxes and charges that apply to the operations carried out in terms of customs regulations.
• Deliver and control the information related to customs agents and international logistics operators.
• Determine the import regimes and their transfer to the Plant.
• Request for payment of taxes and request transfers
• Monitoring shipments (land, sea, air and FFCC), and their arrival on time.
• Contact with Customs Agents, negotiation of costs and services.
• Review of expense accounts and authorization for payment of these.
• Request government procedures to obtain and authorize development programs.
• Control of the IMMEX, PROSEC, and Annex 24 programs.
• Quotation and evaluation to determine the best transportation options.
• Receipt of imported merchandise and delivery to the corresponding departments.
• Capture of merchandise transfer records.
• Expedited clearance and shipment of merchandise and urgent shipments.
• Management of service providers (insurance, courier, cargo).
• Review of budgets in various services.
• Filling and elaboration of certificates of origin.
• Budget management and freight account / Customs Agent
• Analysis and solution of problems
 

Education
• Bachelor's degree in international trade, international business or related

Work Experience
• Automotive industry
