MATERIAL PLANER

Role Summary
Ensure the supply of raw materials and components to each of Gestamp's production lines, to achieve maximum use of them, and meet the requirements of the finished product to the client in a timely manner, to ensure maximum use of the same.
 

Key Responsibilities
• Require raw material and components in time and quantity for direct materials produced in Gestamp according to the supplier's lead time.
• Manage the receipt of direct material.
• Coordinate the receipt of machinery.
• Perform coverage analysis
• Make weekly and monthly requirements for raw materials for the production lines.
• Follow-up on raw material deliveries with assigned suppliers.
• Verify the flow of materials in the plant.
• Maintain inventory levels, following the policy established in the business plan considering the supplier's lead time.
• Reconciliation of Materials when dealing with material on consignment
• Give support to the area of projects and purchases in development and monitoring of direct material suppliers.
• Analysis and solution of problems 
 

Education
• industrial Engineer
 

Work Experience
• Experience in automotive industry preferably
