E-COAT QUALITY AUDITOR

Role Summary
Initial preparation of reports of internal problems detected in the production lines, recording in the log the relevant events that occurred during the work day, leaving a history of the acts and activities carried out, to provide feedback to the counterpart.
 

Key Responsibilities
• Product release in paint, motorcoat and waxing production lines.
• Verify the quality of the product manufactured on the line according to the Inspection Instruction Sheet (HII), appropriately using tools and equipment such as Elcometer, adhesion kit, digital camera (Endoscope).
• Correctly record the results of inspections and tests in accordance with the Inspection Record Sheet (HRI).
• Coordination and/or preparation of tests for the release of processed material in the production line such as thickness measurement, adhesion tests, etc.
• Monitoring of process parameters according to HII and/or control plan.
• Visual inspection of the product, considering the defects determined in each process: correct labeling.
• Rework Inspection.
• Define the material inspection status ensuring the correct flow of non-conforming material.

• Verify and monitor the correct use of Poka Yokes and red rabbit.
• Follow what is indicated in the Annex "Management of non-compliant product and rapid escalation"
• The auditor has the authority to stop the production line if Non-Compliant product is detected.
• Training of operational personnel and new hires.
•  Analysis and solution of problems
• Responsible for the verification of materials in containment
• Dissemination of quality alerts in case of having non-compliant material from the same process or from previous processes that affect the quality of the product.
• Basic knowledge of product auditing
• Verification and care of the measurement equipment that is under your responsibility.
• Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated before use.
• Material identification
 

Education
Bachelor or technical career.
 

Work Experience
• Experience in automotive industry preferably
 

Additional information
• Visual inspections
• Handling of measuring instruments
• Basic knowledge and application of the control plan and process FMEA
• SAP
