Assembly Maintenance Technician

Role Summary

To provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas, carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on

equipment at our West Midlands plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Renovation and routine maintenance of assembly equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC’s, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities on automated production facilities.
  • Adherence to departmental systems (Pm, recording downtime) (Pirana).
  • Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
  • Timely response to equipment stoppages.
  • Improvements to assembly equipment (Kaisan).
  • Key performance indicators such as equipment OEE.

Knowledge and Education

  • Completed a recognised Electrical / Maintenance apprenticeship or Time served with Equivalent EAL/C&G  236L2/2360 L3/2330 L3
  • 17th or 18th  Edition Regulations qualified is desireable.
  • Ideally hold an Electrical HNC. 

Additional Information

Must be able to work onsite from our Manufacturing Facility in Wolverhampton
