Material Services Manager

Role Summary

This role is responsible for the leadership & management of the internal logistics team including associated Team Leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all deliveries and collections to and from production processes happen quickly and efficiently
  • Driving to zero OEE losses for material delivery or collection from production processes
  • Attendance of daily fast response meeting to report out on Logistics OEE losses and countermeasures
  • Attending daily BU meetings  to report out on Logistics OEE losses and countermeasures
  • Attending weekly BU meetings to report out on Logistics OEE loss activities
  • Daily reporting, in the logistics meeting, of: OEE losses by BU, Head count & Absence.
  • All statutory requirements followed. Ie. Racking checks.
  • Increasing internal logistics efficiency and productivity
  • Vehicle fleet management
  • Management of training / versatility
  • Creation and standardisation of best practices
  • License refreshers
  • Managing Performance of KPIs' : Accidents and Incidents, BU OEE Loss and 5S

Key Qualifications

  • Experience within a Logistics environment.
  • People management and development.
  • Business process experience within a similar environment. Proven track record within automotive sector (possibly 1st tier).

Knowledge and Education

  • Leadership & Management Qualification or relevant Experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely

Additional Information

  • Must be able to work onsite from our Wolverhampton facility
