Role Summary
This role is responsible for the leadership & management of the internal logistics team including associated Team Leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections to and from production processes happen quickly and efficiently
- Driving to zero OEE losses for material delivery or collection from production processes
- Attendance of daily fast response meeting to report out on Logistics OEE losses and countermeasures
- Attending daily BU meetings to report out on Logistics OEE losses and countermeasures
- Attending weekly BU meetings to report out on Logistics OEE loss activities
- Daily reporting, in the logistics meeting, of: OEE losses by BU, Head count & Absence.
- All statutory requirements followed. Ie. Racking checks.
- Increasing internal logistics efficiency and productivity
- Vehicle fleet management
- Management of training / versatility
- Creation and standardisation of best practices
- License refreshers
- Managing Performance of KPIs' : Accidents and Incidents, BU OEE Loss and 5S
Key Qualifications
- Experience within a Logistics environment.
- People management and development.
- Business process experience within a similar environment. Proven track record within automotive sector (possibly 1st tier).
Knowledge and Education
- Leadership & Management Qualification or relevant Experience
- IOSH Managing Safely

- Must be able to work onsite from our Wolverhampton facility
