Production Coordinator

Short Description

Role Summary

  • Assign job duties to production associates as determined by seniority.
  • Assure the quality of parts by conferring with Quality department.
  • Communicate critical areas of processes with production associates.
  • Ensure that associates are properly trained on their job and understand the importance of monitoring for quality.
  • Properly isolate rejected material.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct zone communication meetings with production associates.
  • Conduct zone review meetings with management team.
  • Discuss maintenance requirements with maintenance department.
  • Stress importance of reporting suspect equipment problems.
  • Assist with corrective action activities that apply to production.

 

Knowledge and Education

  • High School Diploma
  • 4 years minimum experience in production supervision.

 

Work Experience

  • Metal Stamping and minor assembly.
  • Advance problem solving skills.
  • Team oriented and an active participant in continuous improvement.

 

Additional Information

  • Employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to listen to, communicate, and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
