Purchasing Sustainability Technician

Role Summary
We are looking for an International Purchasing Sustainability Technician with previous experence in Purchasing departments with an ESG approach.
Key Responsibilities
•Collaborate closely with ESG department and cascade ESG agreed messages to divisional purchasing teams.
•Working to get procurement action plan targets, aligned with the ESG Business Plan.
•Support ESG initiatives that require purchasing area cooperation to be integrated in a responsible supply chain management.
•Boost changes on purchasing areas to encourage Gestamp's ESG objectives achievement.
•Report and follow-up of ESG actions with impact on purchasing KPIs.
•Collaborate with purchasing commodities in the definition and management of purchasing strategies regarding impacts and goals in scopes 1, 2 and 3 to improve Carbon emissions and recycling.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar.
•At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing environments, preferably in raw material (Steel) purchases in a Produtive Plant in the Industrial Sector.
•ESG knowledge.
•Having developed and implemented significant cultural and Business changes in complex International organizations will be a plus.
•Proactive person willing to learn and develop at Corporate Purchasing Department, resilient and used to work with people from different departments and countries.
•Experience with Power BI to prepare reports and KPIS.
•Languages: high Spanish and English professional level, both spoken and written. Other languages (German or French) will be a plus.
