Tool & Die Maintenance Manager (WCF)

Manages tool maintenance by ensuring the availability and performance of tools while optimizing their maintainability, costs and lead times in order to contribute to the overall performance of the site in terms of productivity, quality, safety and environment.

1/ Management
- Manages his team, sets their objectives and guides them in achieving them (annual interview, etc.),
- Implements human resources development decisions (recruitment, training, authorizations, evaluation) of the service and ensures the development of the skills of its teams,
- Monitors HR / Safety indicators (absenteeism, accidents at work, etc.) and defines corrective actions,
- Contributes to the quality of working relations and the social climate of his department and between departments,
- Ensures compliance with internal regulations, quality, safety and environment instructions.

2/ Management of the maintenance activity
- Monitors maintenance performance indicators (tooling failure rate, preventive maintenance rate, consumption, etc.), pilots corrective action plans,
- Develops and monitors the tool compliance plan,
- Develops, proposes and manages the tool maintenance budget. Pilots the analysis of maintenance costs, validates the prioritization of actions,
- Pilots through its teams the preventive and curative maintenance operations of the tools to achieve the performance, quality and safety objectives as soon as possible,
- Transmits to the departments concerned the information, documentation necessary for their missions,
- Defines the organization of its department and develops working methods with other departments (purchasing, production, quality) to guarantee reliability and optimize delivery times and costs,
- Guarantees the application of the S4 process, reports on its application and contributes to its improvement.

3/ Management of the general store
- Defines / enforces the organization of the general store guaranteeing optimal supply (costs, deadlines, quality) of all the services concerned,
- Validates the choice of strategic spare parts, monitors and contributes to the improvement of supplier performance in connection with purchasing.

4/ Management of maintenance & modification operations
- In connection with production, plans and prioritizes maintenance interventions,
- Validates the recourse, optimizes and controls the operations carried out by the external companies,
- Accompanies its teams in diagnoses and interventions, carries out maintenance operations itself when necessary,
- Ensures and ensures the order and cleanliness of the areas for which he is responsible,
- Contributes to waste management (organization, collector contacts, etc.).

5/ Continuous improvement
- Animates, reinforces and drives the appropriation by its teams of the tools and challenges of continuous improvement,
- Researches and validates technical / organizational improvements in order to simplify, make reliable and optimize production / maintenance,
- Have maintenance issues taken into account in implementation projects,
- Participates in the establishment of workshops and workstations,
- Contribute to the training of production staff and to guarantee performance.
