JOB SUMMARY

Performs die set and/or fabrication work in accordance with work instructions from the Tooling
Manager or Production Supervisor in meeting departmental and plant requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs die set and/or fabrication work in accordance with work instructions from the Tooling Manager or Production Supervisor in meeting departmental and plant requirements.
  • Assist the Maintenance Classification in accordance with work and job duty requirements.
  • Maintain quality system requirements in area of responsibility.
  • Performs job duties in accordance with safety instructions and requirements.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary or appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to run Bridge Crane for use of moving Dies, and loading material on de-coilers.
  • Must be able to read and follow directions in set up methods of special requirements.
  • Ability to use a tape measure, micrometer, calipers, power tools, torch, MIG welder,
  • Drill press, Hi-Lo and/or other related tools in job duty requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION 

  • 3 years minimum experience with Progressive and Line dies.
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
