Long Description
Role Summary
Position is for an experienced machine tool electrician with PLC programming experience. Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Lab View controls & programming. Allen Bradley, HMI, Ethernet and other machine communication devices as well as ABB Robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain electrical controls for stamping presses, servo feeding equipment, assembly and machining centers, robotic welders and general building electrical maintenance.
- Maintain current PLC & HMI programs. Responsible for product line change, efficiency and quality improvements.
- Assist Maintenance Manager in directing skilled trade workforce.
- Follow product launch utilizing Gestamp Machine Build Standards.
- Performs additional related duties as requested.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Electrical and print reading.
- Allen Bradley RS Logic 5, RS Logic 500, RS Link, Panel Builder 32.
- Allen Bradley, Siemens & Lab View controls & programming preferred.
- Knowledge of AC & DC drives
- Robot programming, ABB, Fanuc primarily.
Knowledge and Education
- Technical Training in Electrical Controls
- Minimum 5 years of Automotive related experience
- Allen Bradley Programming
- Robotic Programming
- CNC Programming
