JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing transactional and administrative support in the Purchasing Department. Works primarily with SAP and ARIBA systems to issue purchase orders, maintain supplier and material records, and assist Buyers in day-to-day activities, ensuring accurate and timely procurement execution.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Conduct all activities in a professional manner and positive attitude with an emphasis on personal responsibility.

2.    Source and purchase Spare parts, components, and services to support production schedules.
3.    Negotiate Capex order under ARIBA Sourcing project platform.
4.    Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
5.    Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
6.    Ensure the timely acquisition of parts and materials and proactively drive outcomes.
7.    Responsible for negotiating non-complex contracts
8.    Prepares and executes negotiations with suppliers ensuring their contractual commitment regarding pricing, quality, logistics, warranty and technical performance.
9.    Analyzes the supplier quotes and negotiates part/tooling price with suppliers to deliver quality, cost and delivery target.
10.    Develops and implements cost improvement activities for assigned parts and suppliers.
11.    Promote continuous cost improvement activities in cooperation with related departments and suppliers.
12.    Analyzes the supplier performance and makes recommendations for improvement.
13.    Monitors supplier launch readiness and promote necessary problem-solving activities in cooperation with related departments and suppliers, if required.
14.    Promotes continuous supply chain optimization activity.
15.    Responsible for managing suppliers: purchase orders, procurement parts, and repair parts to meet production requirements.
16.    Issues purchase orders and/or tool orders.
17.    Manages and resolve supplier problems.
18.    Anticipates shortage concerns and monitors supplier’s in-process orders to account for production volume changes.
19.    Researches and recommends countermeasures for gaps and scheduling.
20.    Collects and analyzes the benchmark information/data (e.g., industry trend, cost index, etc.), and update the strategy.
21.    Utilize ARIBA software to determine and communicate changes that are needed in a company's business processes 
22.    Supplier registration.
23.    Identify and reduce obsolescence level.
24.    Coordinate with maintenance dept. implementation and utilization of Maintenance orders.
25.    Optimize transportation routes
26.    Supervise purchasing assistant activities as development process

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1.    Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/Supply Chain/ Engineering /Business Administration/Operations Planning

2.    Minimum 2–4 years of purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
3.    Hands-on Experience with financial and accounting activities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1.    Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

2.    Proficiency in SAP, ARIBA, and Microsoft Office.
3.    Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
4.    Inventory Management.
5.    Good communication and interpersonal skills.
