Job Summary

The Press Maintenance Group Leader works within the team consisting of Engineering, Manufacturing & Maintenance. The Press Maintenance Group Leader is responsible for leading the daily activities of the Press Shop Maint Team, overseeing the continuous improvement of the press shop equipment.

Skills needed

  1. Strong knowledge of maintenance concepts, including electrical, Hydraulic& Mechanical repairs
  2.    Strong knowledge of PLC programs and trouble shooting.
  3.    Ability to interpret Electrical and mechanical schematics / blueprints.
  1. Effective interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  2. Able to work in a fast paced environment.
  3. Able to multi task ( assist in trouble shooting on separate systems at the same time)
  4. Able to adapt and be self-driven.
  5. Development of Maintenance checks, training and work instructions.
  6. Computer programs i.e.: MS office, Excel, Word, And outlook
  7. Ability to drive Shop cleanliness in the 5s
  8. Able to work overtime and be available for after-hours support of the Maintenance Team.

  1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle, manipulate, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk and hear
  2. Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
  3. While performing the duties of the job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time
  4. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  5. The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  6. The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
  7. The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
