JOB SUMMARY

Key role at customer manufacturing locations responsible for maintaining strong customer relationship by handling/communicating quality and delivery issues effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support customer with quality and delivery related issues.
  • Coordinate containment activities at customer locations.
  • Collect pictures and/or samples of suspect or non conforming product.
  • Perform Leak test investigation using hand held tester.
  • Interact successfully with Gestamp McCalla Quality Engineers.
  • Interact successfully with customer engineering and SQE representatives.
  • Participate in 3 path, 5why root cause analysis and corrective actions with a cross functional team in order to reduce / eliminate internal and customer PPM’s.
  • Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies.
  • Understand and follow all required GPS standards.
  • Any task deemed necessary by Management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years Quality Engineering or Customer Quality Liaison experience.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician is preferred.
  • Experience with e-coating process preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High proficiency in understanding math data, interpretation and part measurement.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Knowledge of plant manufacturing processes.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills.
