JOB SUMMARY

Stamping supervision of daily Press Room activities, including work force allocation and scheduling of production. assist the Business Unit Manger Press in ensuring all targets related to Safety, Quality and Productivity are met or exceeded.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Process manufacturing orders through SAP
  2. Coordinate with freight providers to provide shipping details and updates
  3. Collaborate with customers to ensure uninterrupted service during material shortages
  4. Meet budgets for inventory
  5. Monitor inventory for accuracy
  6. Schedule stamping lines based on available material and assembly needs for all shifts.
  7. Monitor data flow for KPI’s (Captor, Power BI)
  8. Daily Supervision of all Press Shop personnel
  9. Implementation of “World Class” Manufacturing Policies and Procedures
  10. Strong Stamping and Assembly experience.
  11. Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  12. Support in related areas of the environmental management system

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Health and Safety of all subordinates including any sub-contractor working in the area of responsibility.
  2. Supports the Operational Performance Metrics relating to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery and helps ensure all targets are met or exceeded.
  3. Production data collection and reporting using MRP system.
  4. Supports and contributes to the Annual Operating Plan regarding performance and cost expectations.
  5. Know and enforce health, safety, and environmental rules
  6. Seek to reduce safety risks, with support from the safety team
  7. Know the health, safety and environmental procedures in your area and make sure apply

Report accidents and incidents in your area

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Press Shop experience is a MUST
  2. Press Tooling background would be desirable
  3. Strong knowledge in SAP, setting up new materials

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. At least 5 years’ experience within the Automotive Industry showing a steady career progression.
  2. A Minimum of 3 years in a managerial position
  3. A good understanding of “Lean Manufacturing” concepts

Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
