Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities
- Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for process and material related concerns
- Leads cross functional teams in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive action for material and process related concerns
- Resolve quality issues of capability, tolerance, and materials related issues
- Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques
- Sets and monitors SPC data to ensure delivery of consistent quality from suppliers or to customers
- Trains Quality Associates to use inspection equipment, part/assembly checking fixtures, Data Myte
- Follows-up customer quality issues, analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints
- Participates in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis(FMEA)
- Lead/Participates in the Advanced Product Quality Planning activities for new product launches
- Develops and submit PPAP documents for new product launches and part engineering changes
- Maintains Quality Control Plans and Inspection Process Sheets throughout the life of the part
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and submitting data; making recommendations
- Works with cross functional team to ensure Quality KPI targets are achieved
Knowledge, Skills and abilities
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and SPC
- Knowledge of quality tools/techniques (APQP, PPAP, ISO/IATF, Problem Solving)
- Ability to work in a team-based lean manufacturing environment.
- Moderate to advance computer and Microsoft Office skills.
