Long Description
Role Summary
Lead and support all E Coat line operations to include – System startup, Monitoring, & Maintenance. All scheduling of operators, tasks and projects will be the responsibility of the Supervisor. Lead and develop plans and schedule for any new product launch.
Key Responsibility
- Responsible to develop the E – Coat Lab operator lab time schedule
- Develop and execute the TPM program for all E Coat Systems.
- Perform DST meeting and attend to other meetings as needed.
- All activities during the shift with a standardization method including diligence and discipline.
- Responsible for all production personnel, quality, quantity of parts produced to internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all Team Members comply with all company policies and procedures, including standard work instructions, and all safety protocols.
- Direct Team members , including Team Leaders, to meet or exceed customer requirements and business objectives.
- Ensure that 80% of time is spent on the floor.
- Be able to work overtime as needed, including any weekends or holidays.
- Ensure all Time Sheets are done daily
- Ensure all required production and personnel documentation is updated and accurate.
- Utilize data driven measurables to track productivity and performance.
- Support continuous improvement activities through identification of safety, quality, or process improvements, while leading problem solving efforts to address identified opportunities for improvement. (shortloop and A3).
- Maintain manufacturing best practices, single part flow objectives with proper documentation.
- Maintain all required training documentation including Skills assessment charts and graphs.
- Conduct all corrosion testing according to the customer specifications, SEM’s and all quality checks.
- Lead projects with other areas and provide responses to audits, corporate visits or other necessities in the area.
- Follow all chemical consumption on the floor and SAP system.
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Education
- BS in Chemistry or related field preferred but not required. High school education or equivalent required.
- Previous employment in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with analytical chemistry equipment
Work Experience
- Superior interpersonal and organizational skills
- 3 years waste water treatment
- 3 years E Coat experience.
- Understand and be able to implement all quality programs.
- Be able to perform data analysis using statistic software with “DMAIC” data driven quality to include, DP, DPK, ANOVA, time series analysis and R&R.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0
- MicroSoft Office working knowledge
