Process Engineer
Role Summary:
We are looking for a welding engineer to be responsible for managing welding projects and supervising the welding team. The responsibilities of a welding engineer include providing consulting services, coordinating multiple projects, and overseeing the welding procedure.
Key Responsibility:
- Investigate welding related issues to improve product performance and increase productivity
- Design welded parts, assemblies and structures such as buildings, pressure vessels, and pipelines
- Develop repair procedures and assess flaws to determine the fitness-for-service of structures
- Develop standards, materials, weld joint design, and welding processes
- Develop welding process procedure qualification, supplier qualification, and product testing

- Excellent communication, writing, and computer skills
- Ability to create, design, and analyze blueprints and drawings
Knowledge and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in welding engineering, welding engineering technology, or similar, AWS Certified Welding Inspector, AWS Certified Welding Engineer preferred.
- Solid leadership skills
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Computer literate.
Work Experience:
- Mig weld experience working with VW, BMW highly preferred.
- Work experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Automotive industry preferred.
