JOB SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Plan, organize, direct and control the activities and staff involved in the operations of business systems, including systems analysis, computer operations and technical infrastructure.
  2. Manage through SAP analysts the development and implementation of SAP and other possible sw for main processes in the plant (presses, assembly, logistics, finance, etc.)
  3. Supervise feasibility studies for systems improvement and preparation of systems project proposals; prepare long-range system projects/plans with priority recommendations
  4. Ensure adherence to Gestamp’s global Standards in solutions proposed, and drive to the new policies and procedures that have been stablished to support the Project Portfolio.
  5. Prepare operational forecasts and requirements for information systems, systems development, communications and IT infrastructure.
  6. Align information technology’s priorities and activities with the Plant’s strategies and related systems and information requirements.
  7. Act as a liaison between the local operations team and corporate and division teams in order to support the deployment projects.
  8. As part of the IT group, build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of IT and technical support.
  9. Work on other duties that is part of IT department to collaborate with the team.
  10. Interacts with other IT members from NA to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.
  11. Collaborate with plant management to achieve team goals and initiatives.
  12. Support the Company’s mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities.
  13. Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the work area.
  14. Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
  15. Other duties as assigned related to this scope of work.
  16. Develop and implement ISMS policies and procedures.
  1. Properly track defined high-level information security objectives to correct deviations and ensure compliance.
  2. Review and improve existing ISMS policies and procedures to ensure we are addressing organizational goals.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the security of the organization's information systems and data.
  4. Review potential projects and purchases to ensure the ISMS needs are being identified.
  5. Support and monitor the investigation of security incidents from notification to resolution.
  6. Provide guidance and training to employees on information security best practices.
  7. Conduct regular security assessments and audits for the ISMS.
  8. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 4 year college degree in a computer related field
  • 2+ years in manufacturing environments
  • 4+ years SAP experience as implementation projects
  • Technological infrastructure implementation and project coordinator experience
  • 1+ years managing projects

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

  • Captor manufacturing experience and PLC Logicals
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish (written and spoken) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective information security policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and provide guidance and training to employees.
  • Ability to conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to information security.
