HSE Regional Manager – Lead, Innovate, and Drive Safety Excellence!

We are seeking a dynamic HSE Regional Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of HSE for North America and play a crucial role in shaping and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies across the region. You will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance, fostering a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in our operations.

What You’ll Do:
🔹 Be the go-to expert on HSE compliance across the region, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
🔹 Lead and mentor plant teams, guiding compliance strategies, inspections, and regulatory responses.
🔹 Shape the future by analyzing risk, compliance trends, and regulatory changes to set proactive regional strategies.
🔹 Drive engagement by identifying training needs and fostering a culture of safety excellence.
🔹 Ensure seamless operations by supporting permitting efforts and standardizing compliance programs.
🔹 Be a key leader on the executive management team, influencing company-wide HSE strategies.
What You Bring:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
✔ 5+ years of experience in HSE leadership, compliance, or a related field.
✔ Deep knowledge of federal and state HSE regulations, with the ability to implement programs that align with these requirements.
✔ Exceptional communication skills to connect with all levels of the organization.
✔ Proven leadership ability to inspire, direct, and develop teams.
✔ Strong adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
✔ Tech-savvy mindset, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and an eagerness to learn new systems.
✔ Willingness to travel extensively (50%+).
Preferred Qualifications:
➕ Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
➕ Automotive manufacturing industry experience—highly preferred!
➕ Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
