As a Talent Development Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing effective development strategies that enhance the skills and knowledge of the workforce within your assigned perimeter. An ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for employee career development to make the best of their current and future abilities.
Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers to identify knowledge and skills gaps within the organization
Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand job requirements by position in order to develop, standardize, and maintain frameworks that represent skills and leadership competencies
Support training, coaching, and experiential assignments that make up the development strategy
Foster a culture of formal knowledge transfer, coaching and training through the organize to engage and develop the workforce
Facilitate the Individual Development Plan (IDP) process within your perimeter, including guiding the employee & manager during all stages of the process
Meet regularly with employees to understand their strengths, interests, and skill gaps, to help them make the most of development opportunities
Contribute to the development and facilitation of learning program content, talent processes/programs, and technology
Evaluate the effectiveness of training & development programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics
Support the implementation and execution of talent practices, including goal setting, performance assessment, talent reviews, and succession planning
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative learning methodologies
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a B.A. in education, human resources, business, training and development, or another related field
At least 5+ years of demonstrated professional experience in education, human resources administration, project management, talent management, or learning/development role
Self-directed and self-motivated mindset
Enthusiastic and positive attitude
Keen learning aptitude
Ability to develop strong collaborative relationships with all levels of employees
Strong written, verbal, presentation & persuasion skills required
Excellent time and workload management skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple projects while ensuring attention to detail and providing follow-up
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation and facilitation skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), Success Factors, Canva, and Ariba a plus
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is a plus
20-50% travel to be expected - or travel to facilities within assigned perimeter required up to 60% of the year
