JOB SUMMARY
Position primary objective is to manage timing, quality, and finance results of programs from concept to end of production. Owns program management through complete product life cycle from concept, quoting, program award, product development, supplier selection, launch, post-production performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinating/monitoring project documentation, timelines, technical performance, budget including expense/tooling/capital, production, quality deliverables, corrective action initiatives, conducting risk analyses, and implementing required counter actions.
2. Is the primary point of communication with the customer on their respective programs. Understands the customer’s business, and speaks their language. Possesses the interpersonal skills to build relationships with key customers contacts responsible for the decision making process.
3. Establish program timing and provide direction to program team to ensure program deliverables are met to internal and external customer expectations.
4. Work with finance to establish program funding.
5. Preparation and communication of program status meetings to management steering committee and escalation of critical issues.
6. Assist in leading launch activities for assigned programs.
7. Work with finance team to establish and maintain financial models.
8. Work to ensure appropriate APQP activities are taking place.
9. Manage pricing and sales activities within ERP system.
10. Cohesively aligns with global product managers, product engineering, and sales by providing customer feedback on products and features as well as competitive information within their respective product group.
11. Report platform status at monthly Senior Management Financial Reviews including performance to budget and variance justification of EBITDA, IRR, Cash Flow, Tooling, Capital, Launch and Engineering Change, and platform metrics.
12. Provide timely communication of program information to all team members.
13. Manage series production phase including claims management, change management & continuous improvement, and execution ongoing price negotiations / adjustments.
14. Promote synergy between program team and manufacturing facilities.

Education and Experience
1. A four year Engineering/Business degree or 5 years applicable automotive experience.
2. Experience with managing financials.
3. Must possess the ability to manage people and interface with the customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
1. Detailed understanding of automotive manufacturing processes: stamping, welding, and coating.
2. Ability to represent Gestamp in a positive and productive manner under all conditions involving direct customer interface.
3. General understanding of program financials.
4. Must possess good analytical abilities and leadership abilities.
5. Ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
6. Detailed understanding of the requirement of various customer and accreditation requirements, including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, OEM requirements.
7. Strong skills in MS Office, SAP, customer and vendor systems.
