Quality Engineer Intern

Responsibilites

The Quality intern will work in cooperation with the Quality Manager to aid in the completion of day-to-day issues, as well as long-term projects to improve Quality systems at the plant
Support the local and corporate Quality teams in daily tasks
Support Control Plan and FMEA development 
Support Document Control activities
Support problem solving activities and process improvement
Complete trainings for employees, as it pertains to changes in Quality systems
Any other duties assigned by the Quality Manager


 

Skills and Abilities

The ability displayed and accuracy of work produced, meeting company standards, and requiring little to no rework
Willingness and cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors; ability to accept constructive criticism
Able to work with multiple different individuals and on numerous different teams
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
 

Education or Experience

Must currently be a student working on a degree in an Engineering, Quality, or related field
