Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to lead and elevate our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will drive performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This position is ideal for a strong leader with automotive assembly experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a solid understanding of quality systems and lean manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
Champion a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with PPE, safety standards, and lockout/tag out procedures
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and integrity aligned with company values
Lead, develop, and execute operational strategies focused on safety, quality, delivery, and lean systems
Collaborate closely with plant leadership, production scheduling, and sales to align operations with customer demand
Anticipate operational challenges and implement proactive solutions to maintain performance
Ensure execution of standardized work, including 5S, quality processes, maintenance, and daily management routines
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and remove barriers that impact performance
Monitor and enhance cross-functional support services, including IT, HR, Finance, and Accounting
Build and develop high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, training, and succession planning
Prioritize and resolve operational issues based on business impact and present resource needs to leadership
Lead by example with strong communication, accountability, and a positive team-focused mindset
Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience in automotive manufacturing or assembly environments preferred
Proven supervisory or leadership experience
Strong technical and computer skills
