Job Summary
- Supervise all production related activities, including safety, quality, and Stamp manufacturing associates and equipment to meet or exceed Gestamp WV customer requirements.
Job Description

- Understand and apply training requirements.
- Responsible for the tracking and reporting of employee’s hours worked to finance and payroll.
- Report unusual circumstances or deviations from standards to Human Resources.
- Insure quality requirements are met per customer department standards and report any issues to Quality Manager.
- Press startup/shutdown and operation per production schedule using standardized work instructions to meet customer requirements
- Apply Production Escalation Process as required.
- Report any issues to Plant Manager and any and all effected departments.
- Insure that SAP system is being used for all aspects of inventory control and material identification.
- Report critical material or shipping shortages/issues to the Materials Manager.
- Attend and chair meetings and presentations in support of the Gestamp manufacturing philosophy.
- Understand and apply company policies and immediately report any issues to Human Resources Manager.
- Support and insure all daily 5S and work area organization is being adhered to.
- Engage in continuous improvement activities and support all aspects of improving the company as a business unit.
Education and Experience
Associate degree or higher preferred
Comparable previous manufacturing experience
