Utility Technician - South Carolina - 2nd Shift

Role Summary
Daily support for Tool and Die department.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspecting Dies
• Cleaning Dies manually and with die wash (opening, flipping dies including pulling pad out)
• Moves Dies with Buggy
• Moves Dies with Crane to include moving to storage space
• Polish Dies
• Supporting and maintaining 5S standards
• Complete work within specified time period
• Any other assigned job duties
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited learning institution.
• Ability to pass Crane and Forklift physicals and obtain licenses
• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive manufacturing preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team oriented, communicates well with others, and able to interact with people at all levels and departments.
• Strong time management skills with a keen sense of urgency.
• Working knowledge of safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
